Los Angeles has definitely shaped many aspects of my life. So much has happened, i dont quite know where to begin.

Anyways, I had lunner w/my friend/teacher/second momma yesterday. After separating for quite some time (5 years?), it was definitely refreshing to see a familiar face in this city filled w/lost people. It's strange how both our paths reside in LA, for the meantime. Time is definitely on her side. At 28, she still looked like the 22 year old i remembered.

We talked and talked.

While reflecting on her words during our conversation, I could see the parallelism of our lives. At age 28, she wasn't going to waste time dating someone that wasn't going to partake on her future. However, at age 18... I was an expiration date. I set up dead ends for each relationship. In a way, i like knowing that this relationship is going to end. And from this point of view, Time is on my side.

So, how long will i keep this up until i reach my expiration date? As much as I hate to state it, looks fade. People are always looking for the newer and better thing.

I will one day be the older outmoded thing.
