I want to know You more.

There is this man who goes around churches interviewing pastors and leaders of the church about their faith, Christianity, and God.

All the responses he received were similar, but what really took him back was this one specific interview with one specific pastor at a one specific place.

He simply asked, "What does Jesus mean to you?"

There was a silence. It wasn't a silence in which the man was trying to pick out the perfect words to depict his answer.. but rather a moment of silence where the man did not know where to begin. The man responded not with words, but rather in tears. He took a seat and put his hands over his face as the tears rolled down the sides of his wrists...

-I think that this is so beautiful. How wonderful would it be to know Jesus so well to enter such an emotional state? How grateful to know all the ways Jesus has blessed us today?

This is something I would love to achieve. I want to know Him. Not to just know Him or fall into tears. But I want to be able to understand to the point where I can't even sum up in words what Jesus means to me. I want to know Him in ways that can only be expressed through inexplicable feelings and thoughts.

How can you put into words the awe in God?
